Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
(Listening): Identify the main point in short, clear, simple and relatively slow messages and announcements.
(Speaking): Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and can briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
(Reading): Recognize significant points in straightforward newspaper articles on familiar subjects and find specific information in a short, simple text containing high frequency everyday or job-related vocabulary.
(Grammar): Show acceptable degree of grammatical control and do not make major mistakes which lead to communication breakdowns.
(Writing): Write simple texts and messages relating to matters in areas of immediate need, and compose short paragraphs linking a series of simple phrases and sentences.
(Interpersonal Skills & Responsibility): Show the ability to act responsibly and ethically in carrying out individual as well as group projects.
